The Sandusky School closed at the end of the 1977-78 school year. I was the principal and sixth grade teacher at that time.
It was a great experience! |

I went to Sandusky through the 5th grade. North Decatur Elementary was formed the next year. I really enjoyed the years at this school. Glad to see the school still in tact and glad to see it being restored.

my mother and uncles graduated from this old school. and my brothers and i attened this school until ndhs became reality. loved this wonderful old school and the memories. awesome work with the wbsite!  |

I am trying to contact any of the friends I went to school with at Sandusky. If you know any of the students I have mentioned in my earlier post please let me know. I really want to connect with them, this was a bright spot in my life at the time. I really want to see them again. |

My bus driver was Mr. Bruner. he was a great person in my life and I will never forget the kindness he showed to me as a child. I loved riding the bus with him, he used to let me turn on the stop signal on the bus. I would stand beside him and I thought I was really doing something. He was a wonderful person. |
